CONGRATULATIONS! Mrs. LAELA HAYU NURANI SUCCESSFULLY PUBLISHED HER RESULTS IN THE JOURNAL OF MOLECULES
Congratulations, Mrs. Laela Hayu Nurani has succeeded in publishing her results of her research entitled “Metabolite Fingerprinting Using H-1-NMR Spectroscopy and Chemometrics for Classification of Three Curcuma Species from Different Origins.” Her research results were published in the journal Molecules on December 16, 2021. (H- Index: 171; SJR: 0.705; Impact Factor: 4.412).
The results of her research explain the Authentication of the Curcuma species are Curcuma longa, Curcuma xanthorrhiza, and Curcuma manga which is important to ensure its authenticity and to avoid adulteration practices, because plants from different origins will have different metabolite compositions. Because metabolites are affected by soil nutrition, climate, temperature, and humidity. 1H-NMR spectroscopy, principal component analysis (PCA), and orthogonal projections to latent structures-discriminant analysis (OPLS-DA) were used for authenticate Curcuma longa, Curcuma xanthorrhiza, and Curcuma manga from seven different origins in Indonesia. From 1H-NMR analysis it was obtained that 14 metabolites were responsible for generating classification model such as curcumin, demethoxycurcumin, alanine, methionine, threonine, lysine, alpha-glucose, beta-glucose, sucrose, alpha-fructose, beta-fructose, fumaric acid, tyrosine , and formate. It can be concluded that metabolite fingerprinting using 1H-NMR spectroscopy and chemometrics provides a powerful tool for authenticating herbal and medicinal plants.
Hopefully this achievement can motivate the other lecturers at Universitas Ahmad Dahlan, to continue to develop good researches and publish their research in high impact reputable journals. All of them are full of blessings and benefits as always. Aamiin…
SELAMAT, IBU LAELA HAYU NURANI BERHASIL MEMPUBLIKASIKAN HASIL RISET DI JURNAL “MOLECULES”
Selamat, Ibu Laela Hayu Nurani berhasil mempublikasikan hasil risetnya yang berjudul “Metabolite Fingerprinting Using H-1-NMR Spectroscopy and Chemometrics for Classification of Three Curcuma Species from Different Origins” Hasil riset beliau dipublikasikan di jurnal Molecules pada tanggal 16 Desember 2021. (H-Index: 171; SJR: 0.705; Impact Factor: 4,412).
Aamiin…
